It was a great day of rugby, both the teams were pumped for their first game against SDAR. After the under 16s first victory the under 14s A ran onto the pitch optimistic, they were playing against the SDAR under 15s A. In the first half the first try was scored , unfortunately it was by SDAR by a lucky blindside break, they then missed the conversion. In the second quarter DC came back with a brilliant try in the corner, Gregor picked it up and ran blindside and dived across the line. The game ended as 5-5. Next were the under 14 B were up against the SDAR under 14's A. The first half was very intense no team could manage to get the upper hand and score, in the opponents 22 Ollie took a blow to his leg and managed to limp off the team still continued to play strong. as the second half began tommy sidestepped two of their players and then passed it to Saif who handed off the final player and scored between the post, Oisin then got the conversion. As the final whistle blew DC B's were happy to have won their first game.
The DC under 14s A were up again and ready to play especially after the under 16s second win of the day. The game began and the same team they drew against in the first game scored the first try, this was no problem as quickly after Ollie sprinted around the outside and scored he then also got the conversion. The second half began and Saif was sent on for Rory came on for Saif who then 5 meters out he caught it and smashed through onto the try line. The game ended and 5-14. The Bs were up and they were unexpectedly going to play against a mix of under 14 and 15's the half began by a lucky try against DC. A second try was coming as well but Richard made a brilliant tackle and stopped it, we then won the ball and it was then passed to Rhys who sidestepped and smashed his way forward. Then DC came back with fast hands to Chris who scored in the Corner. Another try was scored by SDAR and in the last 30 seconds of the 1st up Mr Cottam brought on our own under 15...Kip! The second half was hard, Kip made a big run smashing through there defences then passing it Oisin. Another try was scored by SDAR in the last minute. The game was lost but the energy and effort that was put in was outstanding. Overall it was a great day of rugby for both the teams the SDAR students played fair and showed a high level of rugby that we enjoyed to play against.
The U16 match report is a little thin owing to the fact that Zac spent 50 minutes of a 55 minute coach journey on his match report!

Our tour began with a bang! The DC team encountered great success against the SDAR lions who are the current Malaysian national champions. The game started evenly but the DC game proved we could match the opposition physically and that seemed to unsettle them. This was shown by a late first half try by standout Nathan Appleby. In the second half the DC team pulled away with three try's from backline players with exceptional interplay and offloads creating them. Great start to the tour DC!
